Messalina is the dissolute empress who orders crimes and infamous deeds far her shady intrigues. A centurion with whom Messalina has fallen in love wants to put an end to this situation but he too becomes enthralled by her beauty. He manages to react only when the empress orders a conspiracy against the emperor Claudius, and succeeds in baffling her plan.
